Bryan Jones, 45, has recently joined our Carlisle depot as General Manager.
He was brought in for the role following the departure of the previous General Manager in August 2018 and has extensive industry experience and good knowledge of the local customer base.
Bryan said: “Beaches has a lot of prospects. I started as a white van man 28 years ago, moved into pallets, and then management. I started at the bottom and worked my way up, but I think that’s important as I’m out there getting stuck in and have already secured several new customers who are confident about the service we can provide them.”
At the end of October, the customer service team at the Carlisle depot will also be expanding. They will be joined a new customer service manager who will focus on looking after the existing customer base – following customers’ freight through the network to ensure a first-class service – as well as identifying new customers for Bryan to target.
